Ordalie supports the legal teams of France’s Directorate-General for Prison Administration (DGAP), part of the Ministry of Justice.
Paris, 29 September. In carrying out its responsibilities, the DGAP deals with a particularly complex and growing body of law. Since May 2026, its legal teams have used Ordalie for legal research, monitoring legal developments and analysing documents.
The platform enables its legal teams to locate applicable legislation and case law more efficiently, cross-reference relevant sources and documents, and prepare legal briefings and initial assessments.
Its use is governed by stringent confidentiality and security requirements, reflecting the demands of a sector in which safeguarding information is essential to the safety of individuals, the protection of rights and the proper administration of justice.

About Ordalie
Ordalie is a European legaltech company that develops an artificial intelligence infrastructure dedicated to legal work. The company currently serves more than 800 law firms and in-house legal departments and has over 85,000 active users.
Based on a question, a case file, or a contract submitted by a legal professional, the platform identifies the applicable law, reviews the documents, draws on the organisation’s precedents and templates, and then produces a structured, precise, and well-supported text.
It draws on both internal knowledge and more than 8 million legal reference sources.
Its technology is based on proprietary semantic search models designed for the French and European legal systems.
